4G LTE available for many Lumia devices now in India

Microsoft Mobile has just confirmed that latest firmware update that is rolling out to many Lumia devices in India is activating the 4G LTE frequencies support. In an official communication they have also share full list of devices that will get 4G LTE support with the latest OTA update.

This is to inform you that the latest OTA update that enables 4G LTE update is now available on the following devices :  Lumia 1520, Lumia 1320, Lumia 1020, Lumia 930, Lumia 925, Lumia 920, Lumia 830, and Lumia 625.

Users of these devices can either install the latest update through the Push Notification or go to Settings > Phone update > Check for Update to manually download it. Then go to Settings > Mobile + SIM to enable 4G.

Nokia (Microsoft Mobile) had always packed Lumia devices with penta-band LTE support, though LTE support was deactivated in India. It had been debated a lot whether LTE support will be possible in future via an update and now we have our answer.
