Android Marshmallow update rolls out to the Moto X 2014 in India

Motorola has commenced rollout of the Marshmallow update to the Moto X 2014 in India. The update — weighing in at 884MB — includes features such as Now on Tap, Doze mode to extend battery life, simpler volume controls and app permissions. The OTA update is now rolling out to all users in the country.

 Marshmallow will be available to the Moto X 2014 in select regions including Asia, Canada, Latin America and Europe. Only the Moto X Pure Edition 2014 is eligible to receive the update in the US.
