Android Nougat now runs on 9.5% of Devices

Google has announced distribution numbers which show Android Nougat is running on 9.5% of all Android Phones

Currently, Marshmallow remains at the top with a total of 32.2% share and just behind is Android Lollipop at 30.8%.Otherwise, Nougat’s distribution numbers are steadily rising up 9.5 percent from 7.1% in May

Otherwise, Gingerbread, Icecream Sandwich, and Jellybean have all dropped a little in share, which is good and means folks are upgrading to newer devices. These numbers are compiled from Android devices that accessed the Play Store in a seven-day period ending on June 5.

 Nougat adoption will continue to increase in coming months as new Android flagships will be released. Google has also announced Preview of Android O which is expected to release later this year
