Android P Beta now available for OnePlus 6

OnePlus at the launch event of OnePlus 6 Smartphone announced that OnePlus 6 will be getting Android P Beta which is now available for Download

Android P is best suited for developers and early adopters, flashing this ROM if you have little to no experience in software development or flashing custom ROMs. Proceed at your own risk .please make sure the battery level is above 30% and minimum 3GB of available storage space.

I.Instruction of upgrading from MP version to DP version – Local Upgrade
Upgrading process:
Please note: This upgrade will clear all contents of the phone, please make sure to back up.

1. Download the latest ROM upgrade package from the specified server.
2. Copy ROM upgrade package to mobile phone storage.
3. Settings -> system updates -> top right corner icon -> local upgrade -> click on the installation package -> immediately upgrade -> system upgrade to 100%.
4. Press the power button and choose to shut down.
5. Press the power button + volume down to enter recovery mode.
6. Select Wipe data/factory reset, click power, select yes, confirm.
7. Select Reboot system now.
8. Update successfully.

II. Instruction of upgrading from DP version to DP version – Local Upgrade
Upgrading process:
Please note: We highly recommend backing up all your important personal data before continuing, even a data wipe is not needed here.

1. Download the latest ROM upgrade package from the specified server.
2. Copy ROM upgrade package to mobile phone storage.
3. Settings -> system updates -> top right corner icon -> local upgrade -> click on the installation package -> immediately upgrade -> system upgrade to 100%.
4. Select Reboot system now.
5. Update successfully.

III. Instructions of roll back from DP version to MP version – Local Rollback
Rollback process:
Please note: This upgrade will clear all contents of the phone, please make sure to back up.

1. Settings – System – About phone –Advance – scroll to the bottom and tap Build number 5 times.
2. Settings – System – Developer options – Open “OEM unlocking”.
3. Unlocking the bootloader
a)Reboot your phone into fastboot mode: shut down your device and turn it back on while holding the power and volume up buttons simultaneously)
b)Run “FastbootOEM unlock”: Connect your device to your computer over USB – Using the adb tool – execute “fastboot oem unlock” – press Enter to confirm.
4. Download the ROM rollback package [HERE].
5. Copy ROM roll back package to mobile phone storage root directory.
6. Settings -> system updates -> top right corner icon -> local upgrade -> click on the installation package -> immediately upgrade -> system upgrade to 100%.
7. Select Reboot system now.
8. Update successfully.



known issues with build listed below
1. VoLTE does not work
2. Compatibility issues of Bluetooth connectivity
3. Wi-Fi SoftAP device manager is not functional
4. Camera slow motion function is unstable
5. Face Unlock function is not available temporarily
6. Widevine L1 Does not work for now
