ASUS has launched two new Eeebook series notebooks in India called the Eeebook E402 and Eeebook E205SA. The former is a budget laptop, while the latter comes with a 360-degree rotatable hinge that allows it to be used in multiple forms including tablet, laptop, stand and tent.
The ASUS Eeebook E402 comes with a 14-inch LED backlit display bearing a resolution of 1,366 x 768 pixels. It is powered by a dual-core Intel Celeron N2840 processor with a clock speed of up to 2.58GHz. The notebook comes with 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal memory, a slot for installing hard drives up to 3TB in size, Intel HD Graphics 4000, HDMI 1.4, a VGA webcam, SonicMaster audio, and a 32Wh 2-cell battery.
The ASUS Eeebook E205SA on the other hand comes with a compact 11.6-inch LED backlit display with a resolution of 1,366 x 768 pixels. The notebook offers a 2.16GHz dual-core Intel Celeron N3050 processor, aided by 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory. It comes with a 38Wh 2-cell battery, HDMI 1.4, webcam, a USB Type-C port, and runs Windows 10 64-bit.
The ASUS Eeebook E402 and Eeebook E205SA notebooks come with one year subscriptions to Office 365 Personal. The E402 has been priced at Rs 16,990, while the E205SA is being offered for Rs 23,990.
