Asus at ZenFestival launched Zenfone Laser 2 in India, Asus Zenfone 2 Laser comes in three variant 5-inch and 5.5-inch with 2GB of RAM is priced at Rs. 9,999 ( ZE550KL Review ) while the 3GB RAM variant with Snapdragon 615 SoC is priced at Rs. 13,999. Zenfone Laser 2 feature a 6-inch full-HD display along with a 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution with Corning gorilla glass 4 protection. It has a 5MP front-facing camera, f/2.0 aperture and 85-degree wide-angle lens ,earpiece Asus branding and notification LED.There are three capacitive touch buttons below the display.
On the top the phone has a power/lock switch along with the 3.5mm audio jack. micro USB port at the bottom along with a microphone. There are no buttons on either side of the phone that measures 152.5 x 77.2 x 10.8 and weighs 180g.
At the back, the phone has volume rockers along with the 13MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, Real Tone flash, Laser Auto Focus.The Zenfone branding and loudspeaker grills are present at the lower back.The phone has two micro SIM card slots and a micro SD card slot underneath the removable back cover.
Asus ZenFone 2 Laser (ZE601KL) powered by a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 616(MSM8939) processor paired with 3GB RAM. On storage device include 32 GB of internal storage out of which 25GB is available for user which can be further expandable up to 128GB via microSD card.
The phone offers a 13MP rear camera, large f/2.0-aperture and 0.03 seconds auto-focus feature, which is said to enable up to two times faster focus and zero shutter lag. For low light photography, the phone comes equipped with ASUS PixelEnhancing and PixelMaster technology which allows users to take up to 400 percent brighter photos and videos. It also features a 5MP front facing camera.
