BlackBerry DTEK50 and DTEK60 launched in India for Rs 21,990 and Rs 46,990

BlackBerry has launched BlackBerry DTEK50 and BlackBerry DTEK60 Android smartphones in India.

BlackBerry DTEK50 feature  a 5.2” scratch resistant Full HD display powered by 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 Octa-Core SoC  The phone has 3 GB RAM and 16 GB Flash storage expandable up to 2TB. The 13 megapixel auto-focus rear camera has Phase Detect Auto Focus (PDAF) with Fast focus and 8MP front facing camera. Device run on Android Marshmallow packed by a 2610mAh Battery.  BlackBerry has always been way ahead of the market when it comes to mobile security and it should hope at least some enterprises will take notice when it talks of a device that is more secure than both iOS and Android.

BlackBerry DTEK60 feature a 5.5-inch Quad HD screen powered by a Snapdragon 820 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. Device  runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow), has a 21-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED Flash, PDAF and a 8-megapixel front-facing camera with LED flash. It has secure bootloader that uses multi-stage verification to ensure that the Android OS hasn’t been tampered with, in order to protect business data against hackers rooting the device. All data stored on the phone are protected with FIPS 140-2 encryption, and the DTEK app lets you monitor and fix privacy violations. It also has a Fingerprint Sensor for added security and convenience when unlocking the device, accessing Password Keeper app, and making purchases, including with Android Pay. Connectivity Options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, USB Type-C Packed by a 3000mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0
