Both Phones has a Metal body design and Fingerprint Scanner on the Back. Both come with a  5.5-inch (1080 x 1920 pixels) Full HD IPS Display.  Cool Play 6 is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 653 processor compared to Snapdragon 652 on Cool 1.

Both Phones come with a 13MP Dual Rear camera both have Sony IMX258 sensor, 6 elements and a f/2.0 aperture with Dual-tone LED Flash. The first camera shoots in color whereas the second one shoots monochrome. It has an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with OmniVision OV8856 sensor, and f/2.2 aperture, 80-degree wide-angle lens
