Coolpad today announced two new devices – Coolpad Max and Max Lite in Indonesia. Coolpad Max is priced at 4,999,000 IDR ($375) and Coolpad Max Lite at 2,999,000 IDR – ($225) and available for purchase via various online retailers in Indonesia.
Coolpad Max features a 5.5-inch IPS display with Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels that can rated to deliver a pixel density of 401ppi and 2.5D curved glass on top. powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 Octa-core processor clocked at 1.5 GHz CPU clubbed with Adreno 405 GPU. It packs 4GB of RAM and comes with 64GB of internal storage which can also be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card.
On camera it has a 13-megapixel primary autofocus rear camera with Samsung ISOCELL 3M2 sensor, PDAF for fast autofocus, 6P Lens, f/2.0 aperture and LED flash. While there is a 5-megapixel front-facing OmniVision 5648 camera sensor for selfies and video chatting. The rear camera can shoot Full HD 1080p videos. One of the main USP of the handset is Dual Space System that comes with a separate external system and a secure internal system for the encryption of the user’s calls and texts for added privacy. The handset also feature 360 degree Fingerprint Sensor that can unlock the device in just 0.3 seconds. Coolpad Max runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS based on Coolpad UI 8.0.The handset supports dual SIM slot with dual standby. It supports 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, microUSB 2.0, OTG and 3.5 mm audio jack options. Packed by a 2800mAh battery.
Coolpad Max Lite features a 5.5-inch IPS display with only HD resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels that can rated to deliver a pixel density of 258ppi and 2.5D curved glass on top of it. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 Octa-core processor clocked at 1.4 GHz CPU clubbed with Adreno 405 GPU. It packs 3GB of RAM and comes with 16GB of internal storage which can also be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card.
