Freedom 251 is top trending mobile phone of 2016 on Google Search in India

Google has announced the list of top trending mobile devices of 2016 on Google Search in India.  Freedom 251, which never really went on sale, was the top trending smartphone this year,Apple was second followed by Xiaomi Redmi Note 3.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 was the top trending budget phablet this year. In September, Xiaomi claimed to have sold over 2.3 million units of the phones sintop trending mobile devices of 2016 on Google Search in Indiace launch. While the insights Google shares are interesting, it’s worth noting that they only represent the top trending phones in India, and do not necessarily reflect sales.
