Gionee F103, Gionee’s first Made in India phone by Foxconn in SriCity

Gionee has announced its first “Made in India” smartphone, announcing the company’s support for the Make in India campaign, and the first device that gets made in India for the company is at the Foxconn plant in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. It was the Gionee F103 announced at the event. Gionee Gionee F103 feature a 5-inch HD Display powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 64-bit processor with Mali-T720 GPU and 2GB of RAM. on storage it comes with 16GB of internal storage which is expandale up to 32GB via microSD card.

On camera it comes with 8 Mega Pixel Camera with LED flash and 5 MP front facing camer . dual SIM device runs on Android OS, V5.0 Lollipop ( amigo 3.0) . On connectivity include 4G,3G,GPS, Bluetooth,Wifi. It has dual SIM support and 4G LTE connectivity, including support for 4G LTE bands (TDD B40 2300MHz and FDD B3 1800MHz) for India. Device is packed by a 2400mAh battery.

Gionee having sold over 7 Million devices in India already will look to double sales in 2015-2016, backed by the support provided through its India manufacturing.
