Gionee Marathon M5 Plus smartphone launched in India, It feature a 6-inch 1080p AMOLED display with a screen-to-body ratio of 77.5% and 2.5D arc glass. The device is powered by a 1.3GHz Octa-Core MediaTek MT6753 64-bit processor with Mali-T720 GPU coupled with 3GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage which is further expandable up to 128GB with microSD card.

It has a fingerprint sensor embedded into the home button that promises response time of 0.1 seconds and recognition time of 0.38 seconds.
