Moto Z and Moto Z Force was launched with MotoMods now Moto Z has got a new Hasselblad True Zoom Moto Mod from the Swedish camera maker Hasselblad. This can be attached to the Moto Z, Z Force or the new Z Play smartphone so that you can convert it to a zoom camera.
This has a 12MP 1/2.3-inch sensor with 1.55 um size, has f3.5-6.5 aperture and 10x optical zoom. It has two microphones, can shoot RAW images, comes with Xenon flash and also has physical shutter and zoom controls, for a better handling experience. Since it attaches to the phone, it uses the phone’s battery and connects over WiFi to share the captured content to the phone. It comes with unlimited free storage at original quality for two years with Google Photos.
Hasselblad True Zoom Moto Mod is priced at $299 (Rs. 20,020 approx.) and will roll out globally from September. In Europe, it will retail for about 299 Euros. In the US it will be available for pre-sale on September 8 and available on September 15 for US$249.99 at Verizon and $299 at Motorola.com.
