HP Omen 15 and Omen 17 Gaming Laptops launched in India : Specs, Price in India

HP has launched Omen 15 and Omen 17 two new gaming laptops in India. Both come with GeForce GTX 10-Series graphics and the Omen 15 base model is powered by the 7th gen Intel i5 processor and the Omen 17 has 7th gen Intel i7 processor.

The HP Omen 15 range includes CE070TX, CE071TX, CE072TX, CE073TX, and CE074TX models and the base variant is powered by the Intel i5 7th generation processor clocked at 2.5GHz coupled with 8GB DDR4 RAM which is upgradable to 16GB and 1TB Serial ATA HDD. It has Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 with 2GB GDDR5 video RAM and DirectX 12 support taking care of the graphics requirements. As the name suggests, the base model sports a 15.6-inches LED-backlit 1080p Full HD display with a color gamut of 45 percent. Both runs on Windows 10.

The Omen 15 top-end version is powered by the i7-7700HQ clocked at 2.8GHz coupled with 16GB of DDR4 RAM and 1TB Serial ATA HDD and 128GB NVMe TLC M.2 SSD, and Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 with 6GB GDDR5 video RAM. The high-end model also sports a 15.6-inches display but has a 4K resolution (3840×2160 pixels) display with the color gamut of 72 percent.

The Omen 17 models sport a 17.3-inch Full HD (1920×1080 pixels) LED-backlit display with a color gamut of 72 percent. They are powered by the 7th gen Intel Core i7-7700HQ which is clocked at 2.8GHz clock speed. They come with 16GB of DDR4 RAM which is upgradable to 32GB and 1TB of Serial ATA HDD and 256GB of NVMe TLC M.2 SSD.

HP OMEN 17 AN009TX features Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 graphics with 8GB of GDDR5 video RAM and the AN010TX model packs Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 with 6GB of GDDR5 video RAM. The new Omen series comes with a Dragon-red backlit keyboard with red accented WASD keys optimised for gaming. These laptops use the integrated HP Dual Speakers with Audio by Bang and Olufsen for an immersive 360-degree audio experience.




It has the support for fast refresh-rates with NVIDIA G-Sync and a single access panel upgradeability to HDD, SSD, and RAM. The company has also provided VR support and DTS Headphone:X as well. Along with the gaming laptops, HP has also launched OMEN BY HP Headset 800 and Omen By HP Mouse 600 with right-hand design and rubber grips. It has a full range of DPI levels support between 800 and 12,000 and a new optical sensor designed for eSports. It can withstand the pressure of up to 50 million clicks

 HP OMEN 15 base variant starts at 80,990 and the OMEN 17 laptop starts at Rs. 159,990. The OMEN 600 mouse is priced at Rs.4,999 and the OMEN 800 headset costs Rs. 6,999. Omen gaming backpack worth Rs. 5,040 comes bundled with every OMEN laptop.
