Huawei announces MateBook its first 2-in 1 tablet running on Windows 10 at MWC

Huawei  today announced its Windows 10 device, the MateBook. Huawei MateBook is a 12.9 inch tablet with a 2160 x 1440 pixel IPS display,. MateBook has an aluminum unibody design and the tablet measures 0.27 inches thick and weighs about 1.4 pounds, and features slim bezels (Huawei says the tablet has a higher screen-to-body ratio than the iPad Pro or Microsoft Surface Pro). Windows 10 support for digital pen input, and a detachable keyboard cover



Matebook will be sold with different configuration right from sixth-gen Intel Core  m3, m5, and m7. When it comes to internal storage the options start with 64 GB, and will top out to 512 GB SSD. The battery power of Matebook is 4430 mAh which can be charged to 60% in 60 minutes..

The MateBook will also come with a dock, similar to the Surface Dock which will provide more ports such as HDMI, more USB ports, etc. The device also comes with a Pen called the Mate Pen and it works similar to the Surface Pen, too. The MatePen also has some cool shortcuts, such as the ability to quickly open OneNote — again, similar to the Surface Pen.

Huawei MateBook comes in Grey and Golden colors and the keyboard case comes in Black, Brown, Orange and Beige colors. It will be available in Asia, Europe and North America in the coming months, but no word on the exact availability yet.
