Infinix Hot 10 Review

Infinix has launched Infinix Hot 10 smartphone in India which comes with Helio G70 Processor, 6GB RAM. Here’s our review of the Infinix Hot 10 smartphone priced at Rs 9,999.

Infinix Hot 10 has a  6.78-inch HD+ punch-hole display with minimal bezels, Power, Volume button on the right side, SIM card slot on the left side, a MicroUSB port, speaker, 3.5mm audio jack on the bottom,  On the Rear, it has a Flow Texture Design, with a plastic build, Rectangular camera module, Fingerprint Scanner, and Infinix Branding. The phone measures 171.1 x 77.6 x 8.88mm, Weight:204g.  not usable with a single hand. Overall build quality is good.

 

 

 

Infinix Hot 10 comes with a 6.78 HD+ Punch Hole Display,  20.5:9 aspect ratio,91.5% screen-to-body ratio, 480 nits of brightness, a contrast ratio of 1500:1  The display is protected by NEG Glass protection. The display produces good colors and viewing angles, Outdoor display quality has been improved compared to Infinix Hot 9. The auto-brightness sensor works fine. Overall display quality is good for the price point.

 

Infinix Hot 10 is powered by Octa-Core MediaTek Helio G70 12nm processor with ARM Mali-G52 2EEMC2 GPU. It comes with 6GB  RAM and  128GB internal storage which is further expandable with microSD up to 256GB. In terms of normal usage, performance is smooth, multitasking works fine, gaming performance is good, the phone does get heat up while playing games for a long time. Overall performance has been improved compared to Infinix Hot 9.
On-Camera, it has a 16MP  primary + 2MP  macro + 2MP  depth + low-light video camera, Quad-LED flash, and 8MP front-facing camera with f/1.8 aperture, dual-LED flash. The rear camera can record 2K Video whereas 1080p on the front camera. The Video recording is decent. Rear Camera captures good images in daylight conditions, Low light camera is decent there is Super Night Mode which helps in capture good low light images. Macro, Depth mode works well in daylight conditions. The front camera captures decent selfies. It lacks an Ultra-wide lens.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Infinix Hot 10 comes with a Rear-mounted fingerprint Scanner that works fast, can be used to capture photos, Unlock Apps. There is also support for Face Unlock which works fast in daylight conditions. It comes with DTS-HD Surround sound, Speaker output is loud and clear. Voice Call quality is good. Connectivity options include 3.5mm audio jack,Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 5, GPS/ GLONASS, and micro USB. There is support for USB OTG. It runs on XOS 7 based on Android 10 It does come with Pre-installed apps that can be  Uninstalled,  there is support for App Drawer, Dark mode, and gestures. The overall user interface is good.

 


Infinix Hot 10 is packed with a 5200mAh battery with 18W fast Charging support, 10W charger in Box. Hot 10 battery is able to deliver more than one day of battery life with normal usage. In our battery test, we got around  12 hours of battery life. Infinix Hot 10 with 10W Box Charger takes around 3 hours to charge fully, with 18W Fast charger it takes around 20min less compared to 10W Box Charger.
Infinix Hot 10 comes in Ocean Wave, Moonlight Jade, Amber Red, and Obsidian Black color options priced at Rs 9,999. It offers a bigger display, good performance, 6GB RAM, and battery life, and misses out Wide-angle lens, and Type C Port. Redmi 9 Prime, Poco M2 are other options available with FHD+ Display, Helio G80 Processor.
