Lava has launched Lava A5 feature phone in India. It has a 2.4-inch QVGA display with a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels. It has a candybar form factor and is a Dual SIM handset that operates in GSM 900/1800MHz frequency.

It has a VGA rear camera that has supports zoom and video recording, and expandable memory up to 32GB. It supports USB, Bluetooth connectivity, multimedia player, and wireless FM with recording.Packed by a 1000mAh battery and supports 22 Indian languages including typing in 7 languages like English, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Telugu, Gujarati, and Punjabi.
