LeEco to enter US market on October 19

The company hasn’t spelled out exactly which of its products will be available in the United States, but the picture included on the invitation shows a phone, bicycle, TV, and other devices which may be a VR headset and a smart car system.

In China, LeEco offers a media streaming service and acts as a movie and TV studio as well as a live streaming music service. The company’s internet-connected electronic bicycle and smart TVs are also big in China… but a key reason LeEco has been grabbing headlines in the United States for much of the past year is the company’s head-turning smartphones.

LeEco was one of the first companies to launch a phone with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor and one of the first to include a USB Type-C port. For better or rose, the company also introduced a phone with no headphone jack months before Apple launched the iPhone 7.

LeEco Le Pro 3 feature a 5.5-inch Full HD Display with 2.5D Glass powered by a 2.35GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 821 64-bit processor with Adreno 530 GPU coupled with 4GB/6GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB/128GB  of internal storage.On Camera Le Pro 3 comes with 16MP rear camera with LED Flash Sony IMX298 Sensor  , PDAF, F 2.0 aperture  and 8MP front facing camera.Smartphone is packed by a 4070mAh Battery and supports Qualcomm fast charge

There’s no word yet on whether LeEco will be bringing any of its existing phones to the US or if the company plans to launch entirely new models for Western markets.
