Lenovo A6600, A6600 Plus and A7700 with 4G VoLTE launched in India

Lenovo has launched A6600, A6600 Plus and A7700 new smartphones in the A series in India. All three smartphones comes with 4G  & VoLTE enabled, and are compatible with Reliance Jio its preview offer with a validity of 90 days.

Lenovo A6600 features a 5-inch HD display with a resolution of 1280×720 pixels.  both the A6600 and the A6600 Plus feature a 64-bit MediaTek 6735p quad-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM in A6600 and 2GB RAM in A6600 Plus. A6600 and the A6600 Plus feature an 8-megapixel AF rear camera with LED flash. For all the selfie lovers, the smartphone comes with a 2-megapixel front facing shooter.Both come with 16GB internal storage capacity which is further expandable using a microSD card slot. Both the smartphones are running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box. The latest A6600 series is backed by a 2300mAh battery.

Lenovo A7700 features a 5.5-inch HD display with a resolution of 1280×720 pixels. Under the hood, the smartphone is rocking a 64-bit MediaTek 6735p quad-core processor, clocked at 1.0GHz processor paired with 2GB of RAM.The device also features a twin rear speaker setup powered by Waves Maxxaudio effect which helps in amplifying sound while minimizing noise and voice distortions.The device is running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box. Powering the smartphone is a 2900 mAh battery.

Speaking on the announcement, Sudhin Mathur, Executive Director – Mobile Business Group, Lenovo India said, “The Lenovo A series is one of our star performers and last year, we sold a million plus units of A6000, A6000 Plus and A7000. Continuing the legacy, the A6600 and A7700 series offers brilliant performance with unparalleled user experience at a competitive price point.”



The new A6600 series starts at Rs 6,999 onwards (includes both 1GB and 2GB variants) in Matte White and Matte Black color. The new A7700 is priced at Rs 8,540. All three smartphones will be available through authorized offline retail chains across the country.
