Lenovo to Launch Vibe P1 and P1m in India on Oct 21

Lenovo has officially announced the Vibe P1 and Vibe P1m, Android smartphones  at IFA 2015 in Berlin .  it seems both Vibe P1 and Vibe P1m are set to launch in India later this month , mostly October 21th, where its key selling point would be its massive batteries. The Vibe P1 comes with a 5,000mAh, while the Vibe P1m features a 4,000mAh battery.

 The P1 calls theirs Rocket Charge and will provide 2.8 hours of talk time on a 5 minute charge. The P1m calls their Quick Charge and can provide 2.45 hours of talk time on a 15 minute charge.
Other than that, both phones are quite different in their specs. The P1 will feature a 64-bit Snapdragon 615 processor with 2GB of RAM and a 5.5-inch Full HD display. The P1m will be powered by a 64-bit MediaTek processor with a 5-inch HD display and will come with 16GB of RAM by default, versus the 32GB on the P1, but both will support microSD expansion.The Lenovo Vibe P1 supports 4G LTE and has a wide range of connectivity options. The smartphone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop and packs a 5,000mAh battery. The Vibe P1 weighs about 189 grams.

The P1 will also be more “premium” thanks to its aluminum frame and Gorilla Glass 3 display, and will come with a 13MP rear-facing camera and a 5MP front-facing camera. The P1m will come with a polycarbonate build with an 8MP rear-facing camera and a 5MP front-facing camera.

Lenovo Vibe P1m has a relative small 5-inch display and even the resolution has been bumped down to 720p. The Chinese manufacturer is using a MediaTek processor to power the device and there’s 2 GB of RAM to make sure of smooth performance.

The main camera on the P1m is an 8 megapixel sensor and the front facing unit is of 5 megapixels. The P1m has 16GB of built in storage and you can expand that memory by up to 32GB. Connectivity options on the mid-range include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11n, Bluetooth 4.1 LE and GPS. Lenovo P1m runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop and the juice for the smartphone comes from a 4,000mAh battery.

In terms of pricing and availability, both phones won’t be sold in North America, but in countries that it will be available in, they will be priced at $279 for the P1 and $159 for the P1m
