Meizu has announced the launch of the Meizu Blue Charm Metal, which is the company’s latest smartphone with a unibody custom metal alloy build. Meizu Metal comes with a 5.5-inch FHD 1080p display with 2.5D glass front, strengthened T2X Electric Glass and maximum brightness of 450 nits. The smartphone is powered by the 2GHz octa core MediaTek Helio X10 processor with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage.
As for the camera, there’s a 13MP shooter at the back with PDAF focus (0.2 seconds), f/2.2 aperture, color temperature flash and gorilla glass protection. Front features a 5MP shooter. Finally, the phone features the same fingerprint sensor as the MX5 MTouch 2.1 with recognition speed of just 0.48 seconds. It comes with dual card dual standby with Flyme 5.0 based on YunOS pre-installed. There’s a pure Flyme based on Android version as well. The battery is also quite decent at 3140 mAh capacity. The handset is available in White, Gold, Grey, Blue and Pink colour options.
