Microsoft starts prompting Windows 7 and Windows 8 users to ‘reserve’ their free Windows 10 upgrade

We know how eager Microsoft is to get Windows 10 into the hands of as many users as possible, and recently it seems that they have started to prompt Windows 7/8 users about the potential to upgrade to Windows 10, giving us a glimpse as to how the upgrade process might work.Microsoft would offer free Windows 10 upgrades to those running Windows 7, Windows 8.1, and Windows Phone 8.1. While Windows 10 for PCs ilaunching  this summer.

Newegg recently listed the price of Windows 10 Professional on its website where it is priced at $150. Once users reserve their free copy, they will be notified later on when the update is ready for download, and once that’s done they’ll be good to go. At the moment there’s still no official word on when Windows 10 will be released.
