Motorola edge 50 launched in India for Rs 27999

Motorola has launched the Motorola edge 50 smartphone in India. Motorola Edge 50 has a 6.67-inch curved pOLED display with up to 1600 nits peak brightness powered by Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 Accelerated Edition 4nm SoC with 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage.

It comes with MIL-810H standard, so it can withstand extremely high or low temperature, pressure, shock, vibration, pressure, dust and salt fog, according to motorola. The phone also comes with IP68 ratings for dust and water resistance.

It runs on Android 14, and motorola promises 2 years of Android updates and 3 years of security updates. On Camera it has a 50MP rear camera with Sony LYT-700C sensor, 13MP 120° ultra-wide camera with macro option and a 10MP telephoto camera for up to 30x digital zoom and 32MP front camera. Packed by a 5000mAh battery with 68W wired fast charging and the phone also supports 15W wireless charging.
