Motorola’s 2016 Flagships to feature a modular backplate design

Motorola’s upcoming Flagship smartphones images have been leaked online which could be Moto X or Moto X 2016 now according to new leak Motorola is expected to launch two flagship devices later this year with modular backplate design



There will be two models with code names Vector Thin  and Vertex . Vector Thin to feature 5.5-inch AMOLED displays powered by a 2.GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor coupled with 3GB/4GB of RAM with 32GB of internal storage. On camera it has a 13MP rear camera with laser AF packed by a 2600 mAh Battery .Vertex to  feature a 5.5-inch Full HD Display powered by a Snapdragon 652 SoC with 2GB/3GB RAM and 16GB/32GB of internal storage . It comes with  16-megapixel sensor with PDA packed by a 3500mAh battery. Moto X 2016 expected to feature
ShatterShield  Display.

Moto X (2016) Vector Thin

  • Android 6.0 (Marshmallow)
  • 16MP rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, PDAF, Laser AF, OIS
  • 7mm thick
  • Fingerprint sensor
  • 4G LTE, 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.1, GPS
  • 3500mAh battery

XT1650  According to listing it is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC with 4GB of RAM. Device runs on Android  6.0.1 In addition to the Motorola Moto “X” “Sheridan” XT1650 is carried out at Lenovo / Moto also to a number of other new models

As seen in above images On Back  16 holes of the white Vertex, above they are actually connection pins that allow modular backplates to be snapped onto either handset.Motorola has at least six modules, called “Amps,” planned for launch, including a simple colored backplate that ships free with both handsets. The more interesting ones will be, of course, sold separately, both from Moto as well as third-party manufacturers. The first-party modules available at launch allegedly include stereo speakers; a battery pack; a camera grip with flash and optical zoom; a pico projector; and a rugged cover with wide angle lens attachment.




Moto X 2016 is expected to launch on  August 24
