Nikon Launches Coolpix A900, B700 and B500 Compact Camera

Nikon has launched  Coolpix  A900, B700 and B500 compact zoom cameras.All three cameras support Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) for an “always-on” connection with Nikon’s SnapBridge app. You also get built-in Wi-Fi and NFC with these cameras.



Coolpix A900 features 35x optical zoom, a 20-megapixel BSI CMOS sensor, and 4K video recording at 30fps. The camera also sports a 3-inch tilting display with a 920k-dot resolution. The cameras have been designed for maximum zoom for travel photography while still keeping the overall footprint small so that it’s still relatively pocketable. camera’s 20.3 effective megapixels 2 delivered with a backside-illumination CMOS sensor and high-performance NIKKOR lens, all these adventures can be captured with rich and remarkable detail, even in low light.

Coolpix B700  has a 20.3-megapixel BSI CMOS sensor and a massive 60x optical zoom, making it ideal for wildlife photography and travel. The camera also has the ability to shoot in burst mode up to 5fps. You also get a 3-inch tiltable LCD display, RAW format support, different creative shooting modes and support for 4K video recording too.

B700 comes with an extensive suite of stand-out video features for the aspiring movie-maker. Advanced 4K Ultra-high-definition movies with stereo sound are a snap to create in 2160/30p format, for vibrant videos with sumptuous details. Features such as a dedicated movie-record button, still image shooting, and push autofocus function during movie recording, further simplify the movie-making experience for everyday users. HDMI support is also available in the B700, allowing the direct playback of gorgeous video creations for immediate enjoyment on bigger screens.




Coolpix B500 features a 16-megapixel BSI CMOS sensor and a 40x optical zoom. You also get hybrid VR to counter accidental camera shakes, full-HD video recording and a tilting 920K-dot 3-inch LCD display. The B500 uses AA batteries instead of a rechargeable Lithium-ion one. B500 user experience. With a new mode dial, users can switch easily between 10 of the camera’s most frequently functions such as Scene Auto Selector, Smart Portrait Mode and Backlighting for quick. Enhancing the enjoyment of shooting with the B500, is a wide-viewing-angle TFT LCD tilting monitor, which aids in creative composition and comfortable shooting from a variety of angles, be it at a pet’s eye level or looking out above a crowd, maintaining clear visibility even in direct sunlight

Coolpix  A900, B700 and B500 cameras will be available in the coming months at a price of $399 (approximately Rs. 27,000), $499 (approximately Rs. 33,500) and $299 (approximately Rs. 20,000) respectively.
