No Nougat update for Lenovo Phab 2 series

Lenovo recently launched Lenovo K8 Note with Stock Android OS. Now According to official listing, Lenovo Phab 2 series won’t be getting Android Nougat Update.

Along with the Phab2 Pro, four other smartphones will not receive any other major Android OS updates: Lenovo Phab, Phab Plus, Phab2, and Phab2 Plus. The first two will remain on Android 5.0 Lollipop, while the other two will not be updated beyond Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

Two Lenovo tablets that were launched on the market last year have been denied Android 7.0 Nougat updates as well: Lenovo Tab3 7 Essential and Tab3 10 Business. The former will remain stuck on Android 5.0 Lollipop, whereas the latter will stay on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

Lenovo has rolled out Android Nougat for  2017 K series Phones and also confrimed that 2017 K series Phones will be gettting Android O Update.
