OnePlus’ co-founder Carl Pei revealed that the company’s next smartphone would be unveiled before Christmas. Now some alleged press renders of the third OnePlus smartphone been spotted online under the codename OnePlus X. A few reports also refer to this device as the OnePlus Mini.
As seen in the leaked renders, the OnePlus X (aka Mini) will sport a dual-camera setup with a dual-LED flash at the back. The phone seems to feature a fingerprint sensor located below the rear camera. At the bottom, dual speaker grills are visible, as well as what appears to be a USB-Type C port. As seen in these images and from what was earlier hinted by Pei, the next OnePlus offering will offer a better design compared to the OnePlus 2
Pei also mentioned that the company’s next smartphone may not offer better internals than the OnePlus 2. The brand said that the phone will be targeted at a “different type of audience”. As of now, there’s no way to confirm if these images are legit, so take them with a pinch of salt.
