OPPO mobile phones still runs on Android Lollipop in India

OPPO has launched selfie expert F series and other smartphones in India in 2016 which were running on Android Lollipop 5.1 with company’s color OS. We have seen the smartphone running on Android Nougat while Oppo Devices still runs on Android Lollipop which almost two years old now.

Oppo was No. 2 smartphone brand in India with 8% value market share in August 2016. Android Nougat is now running on 0.4 percent of active Android devices whereas Android Marshmallow runs on 26.3% of devices. OPPO F1 was launched earlier this year in March which is yet to get Marshmallow update similar to other devices. The company has launched R9s and R9s Plus in China running on Marshmallow Update.

Oppo F1s has a 5.5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS 2.5D curved display powered by an Octa-Core MediaTek 64-bit processor with Mali T860 GPU coupled with 3GB/4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB of internal storage Device runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop) with Color OS 3.0. On Camera, it has a 16MP front facing camera and 13MP rear camera. Oppo F1s comes with Fingerprint Scanner on Home button. Packed with a 3075mAh Battery.

Oppo F1 Plus feature a  5.5-inch (1080 x 1920 pixels) Full HD AMOLED display powered by a  MediaTek Helio P10 (MT6755) processor with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal memory. The phone runs on Android 5.1.1 (Lollipop) with ColorOS 3.0. On camera, it has a 16MP front camera with LED Flash and 13MP rear camera packed with a 2850mAh battery with VOOC Rapid Charge

Oppo F1 has a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display powered by Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 processor with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop) with Color OS 2.1. On camera, it has a 13MP rear camera with LED Flash, f/2.2 aperture, PDAF, 1080p video recording and 8MP front-facing camera, f/2.0 aperture packed with a 2500mAh battery

OPPO  A37 comes with a 5-inch HD screen powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 410 SoC coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. Runs on ColorOS 3.0 based on Android 5.1 (Lollipop). On Camera it has 8MP rear camera and 5MP front-facing camera, It also comes with 4G LTE connectivity and packs a 2630mAh built-in battery

All smartphones launched in 2016 comes with Lollipop out of box where as No details when company will roll out Marshmallow Update, Oppo has been promoting selfie expert F series in India in large numbers and  has sold many units in India look Like company has forgotten to provide software update for its customers
