OriginOS 6 launched : features , Supported devices

Vivo has introduced OriginOS 6, based on Android 16 in China. OriginOS 6  update brings a redesigned interface, enhanced system performance, AI-driven tools, cross-device integration, and upgraded security and privacy features.

Design, Visuals, and User Interaction

OriginOS 6 introduces the “Light and Shadow Space” design to simulate natural light and depth, creating a more intuitive interface. Notifications now use stacked layouts for clarity, and Gradual Blur effects separate elements from the background for smoother visuals.

Mirror Screen Effects provide dynamic changes from different viewing angles, while AI Lighting Effects respond to Xiao V interactions. The Customizable Lock Screen adopts the modular Huarong Grid, allowing flexible clock placement and photo alignment.

Interface animations use Elastic Motion Effects, Frame Morphing, and Frame Blur for fluid transitions, while Seamless Transitions maintain continuous flow between apps.

Performance and System Architecture

• The Blue River Performance Engine improves fluency through lightweight architecture, dual-rendering frameworks, and photon transmission technology.
• Dual-Path Rendering Architecture fuses app and server inputs at the GPU, improving frame stability by 11% and rendering efficiency by 35%.
• Super Core Architecture accelerates app launch by 11% and sequential multi-app launch by 14%.
• Photonic Architecture optimizes CPU cache, RAM, and storage, boosting heavy-load data speed by 230% and memory recovery by 15%.

• Scene Intelligence 2.0 optimizes battery life across video calls, short video playback, and gaming (+7% to +18%).
• AI Photo Cleanup removes unwanted objects from Live Photos.
• Xiao V Circle Search 2.0 identifies on-screen links, products, or addresses for quick access.
• Little V Memory 2.0 captures and organizes screen content with contextual links.
• vivo Input Method and AI Search support predictive typing and conversational queries.
• Instant Ticketing Engine accelerates bookings for concerts, museums, and travel.

Cross-Device Integration

Vivo Office Suite enables fast file sharing across smartphones, PCs, and web platforms. Cross-Ecosystem Group Sharing allows high-resolution photo transfers by shaking devices, without data usage.

iPad Connectivity supports app continuity, and Small Window 2.0 integrates phone apps into car interfaces. Global Direct Power Supply 2.0 and Micro Power Genie 2.0 ensure stable power and immediate task resumption. System Lightweight 3.0 extends standby by up to 7%.

Wellbeing and Accessibility

• Eye Comfort Mode with AI fatigue detection reduces eye strain and supports scheduling and preview. AI Sleep Mode minimizes blue light by 25%, improving melatonin production. Dynamic Vision Assistance reduces motion blur during movement.
• Accessibility features include Clear Voice Enhancement and Bluetooth Hearing Aid Integration for improved audio clarity.

Security and Certifications

• OriginOS 6 implements the CHAD full-stack AI security framework, covering chip, device, cloud, and model layers, meeting CAICT AI Security Advanced Capability Requirements. The vivo X100 series is the first to receive this certification.
• Additional certifications come from DNV, Common Criteria, UL, and ioXt, ensuring compliance with international security standards.

System Updates and Functional Enhancements

OriginOS 6 will run out of the box in vivo X300 series and iQOO 15.
