Panasonic launched the camera only version of its Panasonic Lumix DMC-CM1 camera smartphone, will go on sale in Japan on February 25 at around JPY 100,000 (Rs. 58,500). Lumix DMC-CM1 features a 4.7-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) display It is powered by the same 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor alongside 2GB of RAM.

It sports a 20-megapixel sensor with a 10mm (28mm-equivalent) f/2.8 Leica DC Elmarit lens and comes with a mechanical shutter and a manual control ring to adjust ISO levels and other functions. Features such as autofocus lock, autofocus tracking, manual focus frame moving, manual focus assist, and more are also included.
