POCO C71 Review

POCO C71 is the latest budget smartphone in the C series. Redmi A5 is a rebranded POCO C71. It is priced at Rs 6499. Here’s our review of POCO C71.

POCO C71 has a split grid design with a Plastic build, which looks good. On the Front, it has a 6.88-inch Notch Display with bezels. Coming to the right side, there is the Volume rocker and power button,  SIM card slot on the left. At bottom, there’s the 3.5mm headphone jack,  charging port, and a microphone. The speaker grill is placed on top. On the Rear, it has a 32MP camera along with the POCO branding. Build quality, in hand feel is good.

POCO C71 sports a large 6.88-inch HD+ Notch Display with 120Hz refresh rate, the display produces good colors and viewing angle, and outdoor brightness is decent. POCO C71 is powered by Unisoc T7250 Octa Core processor with 4GB RAM, 64GB Storage, which is further expandable with a MicroSD Card.  Performance is good in terms of normal use, Gaming performance is decent.

On Camera, it has a 32MP Dual Rear Camera and an 8MP Front Camera. Both Cameras can record 1080p Videos. Rear camera cpatures good images in daylight and low-light conditions.

 

It runs on Android 15 Go edition. It comes with some pre-installed apps that can be uninstalled. The user interface is good, no major issues. Connectivity options include Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac 2.4GHz/5GHz, Bluetooth 5.2,GPS, GLONASS. POCO C71 has Dust and splash resistance (IP52), a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Fingerprint scanner works fast, Speaker output is decent, Voice call quality is good.

POCO C71 is Packed by a 5200mAh Battery, which is able to deliver one day of battery life with normal use. In our battery test we got around 7-9 hours of battery backup. It supports 15W Charging, which takes 2 hours 30 min to charge fully.

Poco C71 is priced at Rs 6499 for 4GB RAM and Rs 7499 for 6GB RAM, available on Flipkart. It offers a 120Hz Refresh Rate, Good camera, battery life, and Decent performance. Moto G05 is another option which has a punch hole Display, Android 15, and Better performance.
