POCO M7 Pro 5G is the latest offering from POCO in the M series. POCO M7 Pro 5G price starts at Rs 14,999 It offers a 120Hz FHD+ AMOLED Display, 5110 mAh Battery. Here’s our review of POCO M7 Pro 5G.

POCO M7 Pro comes with Dual Tone Design. It has a 6.67-inch FHD+ Punch Hole Display with In-Display Fingerprint Scanner. Power, and Volume buttons on the right side. 3.5mm audio jack, IR blaster,noise cancellation microphone on the top, SIM Card slot, Type C Port, and speaker grill on the bottom. On Rear, it has a 50MP rear camera setup with POCO Branding. The rear panel has a matte texture, It comes with a Plastic build, Overall in-hand feel is good, and can be used in a single hand. It comes with an IP64 rating. The Phone measures  162.4 mm * 75.7mm* 7.99 mm and Weight 190g.

POCO M7 Pro 5G comes with a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with  120 Hz refresh rate,  HDR10+, 2160Hz Instantaneous Touch Sample Rate, 2100 Nits Peak Brightness, 92.2% Screen-to-Body Ratio. The display produces good colors and viewing angles. Watching content on POCO M7 Pro is good.

Poco M7 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7025 Ultra processor with 6/8GB of RAM and 128/256GB of internal storage. We have a 6GB RAM variant. Overall Normal use performance is good while the gaming phone does heat up, Gaming performance is good. On Geekbench, Phone 940 in single-core and 2246 in multi-core tests. On the AnTuTu phone scores 482456 points. Overall performance is good for normal usage not meant for more heavy gaming.

It runs on Android 14 with HyperOS. It comes with some preloaded apps which can be un-installed . It comes with HyperOS AI features like AI Image Enhancer and AI Erase, Second Space, App Lock, Dual Apps, and more . Overall user interface is Good.

Connectivity options include 5G SA/NSA (n1/n3/n5/n8/n28/n40/n78 bands), Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.3, GPS + GLONASS, USB Type-C.  The in-display fingerprint sensor works fast. It has support for stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, Speaker output is loud and clear, and Voice call quality is also good. Airtel and Jio 5G Work well.

On Camera, It has a 50MP Sony LYT 600 primary sensor with f/1.5 aperture, OIS, 2MP depth sensor, and 20MP rear Camera. Both Cameras can record 1080P Videos. Rear Camera captures good images in daylight and low light conditions, and portrait shots edge detection, and blur work well. selfie camera is good. Video recording is decent, but lacks 4K Video recording. Overall Camera performance is good but lacks an ultrawide sensor.

 

POCO M7 Pro 5G is packed with a 5110mAh battery. In our battery test, we got 9 hours of battery backup, including Gaming, Camera use, and Video playback. Battery drains faster while gaming, Supports Dual 5G. One-day battery backup with normal use.

 

 

It comes with 45W fast charging support which takes around 1 Hour 10min to charge 5110mAh Battery fully.

Poco M7 Pro 5G is priced at Rs 14,999 for 6GB RAM and Rs 16,999 for 8GB RAM. It offers a good display, performance, camera, and battery life. Realme Narzo 70 Turbo, CMF Phone 1, Moto G85 are other options available.
