Both phones come with Plastic build.  Realme 6i comes with a 6.5-inch Single Punch Hole FHD+ Display with 90Hz Refresh rate whereas Note 9 has a 6..53-inch (2340  × 1080 pixels) Full HD+ display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

Realme 6i has MediaTek Helio G90T 12nm processor compared to Helio G85 12nm processor on Redmi Note 9. Both phones come with 4/6GB LPPDDR4x RAM. Realme 6i has 64GB UFS 2.1) storage whereas 64/128GB  eMMC 5.1 storage on Redmi Note 9. Performance is better on Realme 6i.
