Honor launched Honor 6X Dual Rear camera Phone in India at a starting price of Rs 12999 for 3GB RAM model and Rs 15999 for 4GB RAM. Here are Reasons Not to buy Honor 6X and other alternatives available at this price

Build Quality

Honor 6X comes with a  Metal body. On Rear Top and Bottom part is made up of Plastic. which is not that Great when compared to other Phones like Redmi Note 4 or Moto G5 Plus. You can watch more in Given video below

Second SIM 2G

When everyone using Reliance Jio as primary SIM in India with other SIM card Such as Vodafone/Airtel/Idea who have launched 4G services in India Honor 6X can support Only 1 4G SIM at a time Second SIM supports only 2G. It could have been okay if other SIM could have supported 3G

No Gorilla Glass protection

Honor 6X comes with 5.5-inch Full HD(1080 x 1920 pixels) IPS Display with No Gorilla Glass protection on top. The display produces good colors and Viewing angle in Bright sunlight also. According to Honor, there is 2.5D Curved glass on top. Honor has applied Screen protector on the Retail unit of Honor 6X which does not cover full Display, it does not give the feel of curved edges of 2.5D Glass.Why use Screen protector which does not even fit display properly

Processor

Honor 6X is powered by octa-core Kirin 655 processor of which four Cortex-A53 CPU cores runs at 2.1GHz and four Cortex-A53 cores running at 1.7GHz with Mali-T830 GPU which is not powerful as Snapdragon 625 which is used in Redmi Note 4 and Moto G5 Plus or Snapdragon 652 on Coolpad Cool 1.

No Fast Charge

Honor 6X comes with 3340mAh Battery which is Nonremovable which does come with fast charger and take around 2 hours 50min to charge The charger provided in the box has an output rating of 5V/2A which is not a fast charger but device supports Fast charging for that users need to buy Separate or use any other 9V/2A charger. Redmi Note 4 has 4100mAh Battery which takes 2hour 60min to charge from 0-100

No MicroSD Card Support

It has Hybrid SIM slot and lacks Dedicated MicroSD card Slot.

The phone does not have dual-band Wi-Fi ac also runs on Marshmallow based on EMUI 4.1 which is expected to get Nougat update in May.Redmi Note 4, Coolpad Cool 1, Moto G5 Plus are other options which you can buy in India at this price range
