Honor has launched Honor 9N smartphone in India with Notch Display, Dual rear camera and 16MP front-facing camera. Here are Reasons To Buy And Not To Buy Honor 9N

Design

Honor 9N comes with Glass & Metal Design. It comes with curved edges which give good grip in Hand. It has a Notch display. Honor 9N is touted to come with 12 layers of glass coupled with nano coating finish in order to achieve a mirror-like effect.

Display

Honor 9 Lite comes with 5.84-inch screen Full HD+ Display with 19:9 aspect ratio with Notch. Due to minimal bezel-less display, the smartphone looks more beautiful.

Processor

Honor 9N is powered by Huawei’s16nm Kirin 659 octa-core processor which is par compete with Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC. It comes with Mali-T830MP2 GPU which is Not Powerful compared to Adreno 506 GPU. gaming performance is average. Honor has used Kirin 659 in Honor 9 Lite, Honor 7X and Honor 9i Smartphones.

Camera

Honor 9N has a 13-megapixel + 2-megapixel rear camera with dual-LED flash. On the front, there is a 16-megapixel front camera. Both cameras can shot Portraits, you will also be able to take Bokeh shots with the selfie shooter. Daylight Images and Selfies are Good, Portrait works fine, Low light camera and Depth mode is average.

Reasons Not To Buy

No Quick Charge

Honor 9N is packed with a 3000mAh battery which comes with a standard 5V and 2A adapter. Does not support fast charging. It Takes More than 2 hours to charge Phone fully. Most of the smartphones nowadays are equipped with the latest USB Type C Port. The phone is equipped with the traditional micro USB port.

Poor GPU

Honor 9N comes with Kirin 659 octa-core SoC coupled with Mali T830 MP2 GPU. This GPU is close to 2 Year old Now. Honor has included GPU Turbo technology mode which increases the graphics performance of a smartphone by 60%. Its More like Software Feature than Hardware. If You are into gaming Than Honor 9N is not an ideal smartphone for you gaming then it will be a deal-breaking point for you.

No Dual 4G VoLTE Support

Honor 9N Does not support Dual VoLTE only One 4G SIM Can be used at a Time.

No Gorilla Glass Protection

Honor 9N comes with Glass on front and back which is protected by 2.5D curved glass display which lacks Corning Gorilla Glass

Hybrid SIM

Honor 9N does not come with Dedicated MicroSD card slot. It has a Hybrid SIM Slot, MicroSD Card Support up to 256GB.

No 4K Video recording Support

Honor 9N Supports Video recording up to 1080P on both Cameras. There is no Support for EIS.

Honor 9N comes in Midnight Black, Sapphire Blue, Purple and Robin Egg Green colors priced at Rs 11,999 for 3GB RAM and Rs 13,999 for 4GB RAM +64GB Storage and Rs 17,999 for 128GB storage. It will be available from 31st July on Flipkart
