Xiaomi has launched Mi A3 Android One smartphone in India, It comes with Triple Rear Camera, Snapdragon 665 Processor. Here are Reasons to Buy & Not to Buy Mi A3

Design

Xiaomi Mi A3 comes with Glass body which is protected by Gorilla Glass 5. Mi A3 is compact and can be easily used in Single hand. Rear Design looks good.

Camera


Mi A3 has a 48MP primary rear camera with 1/2.0″ Sony IMX586 sensor, f/1.79 aperture, LED flash, EIS, 8MP 118° ultra-wide-angle lens with 1.12μm pixel size, f/2.2 aperture and 2MP depth sensor and 32MP front camera. Rear Camera can record 4K Videos, EIS Support at 1080p. Both front and Rear camera produce good images in Daylight and Low light conditions, Wid Portrait mode is better than other phones in this price range. Video recording is decent.

Decent performance

Mi A3 is powered by Snapdragon 665 11nm processor with up to 6GB LPPDR4X RAM and 128GB (UFS 2.1) storage. We have 4GB RAM and 64GB Storage variant out of 64GB around 50GB is available for the user. The phone scores 138822 points on AnTuTu. Performance is good in day to day use. while Playing performance is decent, Cant play PUBG at HD Settings, For normal usage there is no issue, RAM management is good.

Good Battery Life


Mi A3 is backed by a 4030mAh battery which can deliver one day of battery life. In our battery test, we got 9 hours of screen on time.

HD+ Display

Mi A3 has a 6.08-inch (1560 x 720 pixels) HD+ 19.5:9 aspect ratio Super AMOLED display, the display produces good colors,  Viewing angles in indoor conditions is good outdoor u need to enable full brightness, Brightness could have been better, Display quality is average. Xiaomi could have gone with IPS display with FHD+ resolution.
In- Fingerprint Scanner 

Mi A3 comes with 7th generation in-display fingerprint scanner which works well not fast as Realme X or Redmi K20.

 

No Fast Charger in Box


Mi A3 has 4030mAh Battery with 18W fast charging support. It comes with 2A charger in Box which takes more than 2 hours to charge fully. With Fast charger, it takes 10-15min less compared tp Box charger. Xiaomi Should have given fast charger in the Box.

Mi A3 runs on Android One Platform which will be getting Android 10 Update Soon. It comes with Hybrid SIM Slot, Audio output is loud and clear. Priced at Rs 12999 for 4GB RAM which looks decent buy if you are looking for a compact phone, good camera’s, Stock Android. There is a 6GB RAM version which cost Rs 15,999 which looks overpriced considering an average display, decent performance.
