The smartphone is based on the company’s ‘3D’ design language, which has been previously seen in the company’s Mi Note. Mi 5 is the first smartphone in Xiaomi portfolio having the fingerprint sensor in front. Xiaomi Mi5 comes with a curved back 3D with Glass back.  5.15-inch (1920×1080 pixels) Full HD display.  Mi5 Just weights 129grms which is lighter than iPhone 6

Processor

Powered by a  Snapdragon 820 chipset  it has a Quad-core Kryo CPU setup, which is said to be 2X faster than the old iteration SD 810 processor. For the graphical processing, it has an Adreno 530 GPU, which improves the graphical delivery performance by 40%. coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage.

Camera

Xiaomi Mi5 has a  16-megapixel rear camera with Sony IMX298 camera sensor having PDAF and LED flash along with 4-axis OIS, the camera lens is covered with sapphire glass protection lens. The rear camera supports 4K video recording as well and a 4-UltraPixel front facing camera with 2-micron pixel sensor featuring f/2.0 aperture.


Connectivity

 

For connectivity, Xiaomi Mi 5 supports 4G+ (also called LTE-Advanced) networks for faster downloads (up to Cat12), NFC, and USB Type C. The battery capacity of the smartphone is 3,000mAh and features QuickCharge 3.0 technology that provides 4 hours of battery life on charge of 10 minutes.
