Both phones come with a Plastic build with a gradient finish. Redmi 7 has a 6.26-inch (1520 × 720 pixels) HD+ 19:9 display, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection whereas Realme 3 comes with a 6.2-inch (1520 x 720 pixels) 19:9 HD+ IPS display, Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Redmi 7 is powered by Octa-Core Snapdragon 632 processor with 2/3GB RAM and 32GB storage compared to Octa Core MediaTek Helio P70 12nm processor with 3/4GB RAM, 32/64GB Storage on Realme 3 both phones have support for MicroSD card slot.

On Camera, Redmi 7 has a 12MP rear camera with LED Flash, secondary 2MP camera and 8MP front facing Camera whereas Realme 3 comes with a 13MP rear camera with LED flash, f/1.8 aperture, PDAF, 2MP secondary camera with f/2.4 aperture and 13MP front-facing camera. Realme 3 is packed by a 4230mAh battery compared to 4000mAh battery on Redmi 7 both phones do not support fast charging.
