Runtastic revealed its new wearables collection of devices that record your steps, your sleep and much more during the IFA Berlin fair, the largest high-tech trade show in Europe. The 10 Runtastic Moment watches are divided into four collections and include different watch dial sizes, bracelets and colors: the “Fun” (from US$129), “Basic” (from US$129), “Elite” (from US$179) and “Classic” (US$179).
According to Runtastic CEO Florian Gschwandtner, the health, fitness and technology markets have been trying to offer a variety of connected products to answer users’ needs. But when they really looked at what was offered, the brand clearly identified a huge gap between style and functionality. The realization led to the creation of Runtastic Moment, a comprehensive and easy-to-use accessory that is elegant and allows each user to develop their own healthy habits.
The wearable is of course compatible with the Runtastic Me application under iOS, Android and Windows Phone.Similarly to other connected watches, the new watches record your daily step count, distance, active minutes, calories burned and sleep cycle and also gives you the possibility to set your own goals. Users will be able to monitor their daily progress directly from their watch thanks to a progress meter and can benefit from discreet vibrating alarms after a long period of inactivity.
The new Runtastic Moment collection is available through Runtastic’s online boutique and in selected retailers.
