Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ launched

Samsung launched the  Galaxy S6 Edge+.  the Galaxy S6 Edge+feature  a 5.7-inch QHD (2560×1440 pixels) Super AMOLED display, and is powered by a 2.1GHz Exynos 7420 64-bit octa-core ( 2.1GHz Cortex-A57 quad-core + 1.5GHz Cortex-A53 quad-core) processor paired with Mali T760 GPU and 4GB of RAM.

Also on offer is 32GB and 64GB internal storage, but just like its predecessor there is no microSD card slot. In the photography department, there is a 16-megapixel rear camera with f/1.9 aperture, and a 5-megapixel selfie camera up front.

The smartphone also features a bigger 3,000mAh battery with fast wireless charging support, and connectivity options include single-SIM support, 4G LTE support, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC and USB 2.0. On the software front, it runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out-of-the box, wrapped under a refreshed TouchWiz UI. The new UI brings with it features like live YouTube broadcasting, and quick camera launch to name a few.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ comes in White Pearl, Black Sapphire, Gold Platinum and Silver Titanium colors. It will be available for order starting from today in the US and Canada and will go on sale from August 21st.
