Samsung has temporarily suspended production of Galaxy Note7 phone

Samsung Electronics has suspended production of its Galaxy Note 7 smartphones following reports of fires in replacement devices, South Korea’s Yonhap News Agency reported on Monday

The smartphone giant’s decision to temporarily halt Note 7 production was done in cooperation with authorities in China, United States and China, Yonhap cited an unnamed source at a Samsung partner firm as saying. Samsung did not immediately comment on the report.

On Sunday, two U.S. mobile carriers said they will stop issuing Samsung Electronics’ new Galaxy Note 7 smartphones due to safety concerns, a further setback for the world’s top smartphone maker trying to manage a growing recall crisis.

Dual SIM device runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) On camera it has a 12-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, OIS ,f/1.7 aperture and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The Dual pixel rear camera promises brighter and sharper images, even in low light. It has hybrid dual SIM support that lets you use the second slot as a expansion slot when required. The stylus tip became slimmer from 1.6mm to 0.7mm compared to the Note 5 and the pen itself is twice as sensitive to pressure as its predecessor. The Screen off memo lets you pin memo to the Always On Display. Smart Select lets you easily create and share GIF animations and new Air Command functions Magnify and Translate, enable users to zoom in on the screen or convert languages with a simple hover of the S Pen.
