Snapdeal Announces Refunds Within One Hour Of Cash On Delivery Returns

Snapdeal has announced today instant refund on returned goods. Snapdeal has launched today its instant refund mechanism facility whereby it promise to refund within 1 hour of receiving the returned products to its customers. Snapdeal is the first to introduce an automated, API-based, real-time highly reliable, secure instant refund transfer system based on IMPS technology with one of largest private banks of India, as stated by the company.

Last month, Flipkart had also announced refunds Within 24 Hours Of Cash On Delivery Returns.

According to Snapdeal, the instant refund will be completed using Immediate Payments System (IMPS) transfers, a facility provided by banks across the country. The high capacity IMPS real time integration allows customers to receive their refund within 1 hour of the product being returned. 100% of customers using the Cash On Delivery facility will have access to IMPS 24/7 while bank holidays will have no impact on this service either.

Transactions on IMPS can be accessed and initiated across different channels like mobile phones and PCs.
