Sony E5706 with SD808 SoC leaked ,Launching in August

Sony is already working on a bezel-less smartphone, codenamed Sony Lavender, which is expected to debut next month; either as Xperia T4 Ultra or Xperia C5 Ultra. Now a new report from China suggests that the Japanese company is working on one more bezel-less device, dubbed Sony E5706, which is also slated for the August month.

The Sony E5706 is said to pack a 5.8″ 1080p bezel-less display and will be powered by the hexa-core Snapdragon 808 processor. It will have 3GB of RAM, 16 Megapixel rear camera and a front facing 8 Megapixel camera. While it doesn’t have dual 13 Megapixel cameras, one on the back and one on the front like the Lavender, odds are that this too will be good at selfies even though it might not be marketed as one.

It will also come with Android Lollipop 5.1 out of the box. We feel that the Lavender might be launched as the C5 Ultra as the C nomenclature is normally reserved for selfie-centric smartphones and the T4 Ultra could be the E5706 as the T series normally has larger screened smartphones. Both the devices should be announced at the same time sometime next month.
