Sony Xperia Z3+, Z4 Tablet will get directly Android 6.0 update

Sony recently confirmed the list of devices that will get Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) update. It already rolled out Android 5.1.1 (Lollipop) for most of its devices after it rolled out the Android 5.0 (Lollipop) update. Still some devices are yet to receive the Android 5.1.1 update, now the Sony  has confirmed that these devices will get Android 6.0 Marshmallow update directly skipping Android 5.1.1.

Sony Xperia Z3+
Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet
Sony Xperia C4
Sony Xperia C5 Ultra
Sony Xperia M4 Aqua
Sony Xperia  M5

This list also includes the dual SIM variants. Users of these devices might have to wait for few more months to get the next major Android update. There are also reports that Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet will get the Android Marshmallow update in January 2016. Sony already said it will reveal more details about new features coming with the Marshmallow update and the time frame for the roll out soon.
