Sony Mobile’s social media channels inadvertently published a few press pictures of the upcoming Xperia Z5 flagship earlier today. The handset is due to be formally unveiled at IFA 2015 next Wednesday, but you can get a first glimpse of the handset below. The pictures match the leaks we have already seen to date and confirm that the latest Xperia flagship will have a 1/2.3-inch 23MP Exmor RS camera.
The pictures show a slightly rounded frame with the ‘XPERIA’ logo engraved into the side. Colours on show include gold, white and what looks like a dark turquoise. What we cannot tell for sure is whether some of these pictures relate to the larger rumoured Xperia Z5+
Sony Xperia Z5 is expected to sport a 5.2-inch display, though it’s not clear if its resolution is of 1080 x 1920 pixels, or 1440 x 2560 pixels. An octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor, and 3 GB or 4 GB of RAM should also be included.
