Timex and BLINK have partnered together to co-develop the SOS technology in the watches and the BLINK activity tracker uses Bluetooth technology to connect your smartphone. It can track all your all-day activity – steps, distance, calories, sleep. The main USP of the BLINK activity tracker is its ability to send instant mail, SMS and save emergency contacts with the user’s GPS Location in case of an emergency. It is compatible with Android and iOS devices.
The tracker sports a 0.9-inches OLED touchscreen Display with Stainless Steel 304 L Case and comes with a Nordic nRF52832 CPU, 6 axis motion sensor, and SOS trigger to send emergency alerts. It uses Standard Micro USB cable for charging. It has a 90mAh battery that promises a battery backup of 10 days of in-use and 12 days of standby.
