Umi has teased their upcoming smartphone, the Zero 2 which has a dual-display setup like the YotaPhone. The phone will have a conventional touchscreen display on the front along with an e-ink display on the back.
The Umi Zero 2 is said to pack a Meditek MT6752 prcessor clocked in at 1.7GHz, 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. It will have a 13 Megapixel camera on the back and an 8 Megapixel camera on the front. The Zero 2 has quite a flat design like the first generation YotaPhone while the second generation YotaPhone has a pebble like curved back.
Umi will most definitely price their product below YotaPhone and in many cases that is enough to rope customers into buying products. The handset will support 4G LTE and although it is currently running on Android 4.4.4 KitKat, we can expect to see an update to Lollipop at least if it doesn’t already come pre-loaded with Lollipop.
