Verizon Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge gets Android Nougat Update

Verizon has announced that it is rolling out the Nougat update for Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge smartphones. Software Version on Galaxy S7 andS7 Edge is NRD90M.G935VVRU4BQA2

The update brings a bunch of new features to both devices. With Nougat, you’ll get improved multi-window support for running two apps side by side, a new battery management feature, more customization options with the Always On Display, and an updated keyboard along with improved language predictions.

 There’s also a Performance mode available that allows you to choose between Optimized, Game, Entertainment, and High-performance modes, which can optimize battery consumption as well as improve the device’s performance.

The new battery management feature helps maximize your battery’s potential. Easy access, customizable presets for Medium power saving mode or Maximum power saving mode.
App Power Monitor detects inactive apps still using the battery, and puts them to sleep, extending your battery charge

Samsung Pass and Galaxy S7’s fingerprint scanner can be your master key for website logins through Samsung Internet Instead of remembering multiple login details for various sites or apps, Samsung Pass will securely store and manage your ID’s and passwords. Just scan your fingerprint for authentication on the login page. Samsung Internet available for download via Google Play Store or Galaxy Apps.

Verizon has also mentioned that it’s removed the go90 app, which offers free video streaming of original shows, live sports, and more. If you are a Verizon subscriber and own a Samsung Galaxy S7 or S7 Edge, head into the Settings menu to check out if the update is already available.
