Vi 5G services are now available in Mumbai Maharashtra, Here’s All you need to know about Vi 5G coverage and Vi 5G packs
Bengaluru, Chandigarh, Delhi, and Patna rollout is expected in April 2025. Vi 5G plans to offer flexibility and value. Affordable Options, High Data Allowances, value-added services like Vi Movies & TV, Cloud Games, Entertainment (OTT), and Unlimited 5G will be available on prepaid packs starting Rs 299 and on Postpaid consumer plans starting at Rs 451.
Vi 5G rollout will happen all over India in a phased manner.
Vodafone Idea (Vi) has announced the expansion of its 5G services to major cricket stadiums in 11 cities across India. This coincides with the ongoing India T20 league, which is being held at these venues from March to May.

Unlimited 5G data is available to Vi subscribers on plans starting from Rs. 299, and offers unlimited 5G data, 1GB of 4G data, unlimited calls and 100 SMS/Day.
For the network deployment in Chandigarh and Patna, Vi has partnered with Samsung. The infrastructure implemented includes energy-efficient solutions and vRAN technology, aimed at improving network flexibility and performance. Furthermore, the company has deployed an AI-based Self-Organizing Network (SON) system to optimize network performance.
Vi 5G services launched in Delhi starting May 15
Vi is providing unlimited data to users with 5G-enabled devices on plans starting from Rs. 299. For the Delhi-NCR deployment, Vi has collaborated with Ericsson to establish its 5G infrastructure. This infrastructure incorporates features aimed at enhancing energy efficiency and utilizing lighter hardware. Vi has also implemented AI-powered Self-Organising Network (SON) technology to optimize network performance. The network utilizes a 5G Non-StandAlone (NSA) architecture, designed to facilitate smooth transitions between 4G and 5G networks for users.
Vi will roll out 5G services in all 17 priority circles, where it has acquired 5G spectrum, by August this year.
