Videocon Cube 3 launched in India for Rs 8490

Videocon has launched Cube  4G smartphone in the new Cube series. It has a 5-inch HD display powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.

Dual SIM device runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow), has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. It comes pre-loaded with SOS-Be Safe emergency response app on its power-packed smartphone Videocon Cube 3 that has Alert, Walk with ME and reach on time features. The power button of the phone acts as an SOS button that can be customised to send alerts with the GPS location to friends. Walk with ME sends location of a user at regular intervals to emergency contacts and Reach On Time sends an alert if a user hasn’t reached a particular destination at the set time.

The company said that ‘Panic Button’ feature will be across its entire smartphone portfolio, after government recently mandated all mobile phones sold in India from January 1, 2017 should feature panic button. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS Packed by a 3000mAh Battery.
